Merriman’s Restaurant of the Beautiful Island of Maui – March 2023

When we headed back to Maui a couple of weeks ago, I had a small list of reservations to make ahead of our visit, a mandatory process, especially since Covid.

So I started with trying to secure a reservation at “Merriman’s” on frankly any day I could get in. And boy I’ll tell you, this completely exceeded my expectations!

A “farm to table masterpiece, filled with flavor and ambience”, could not begin to describe our experience.

Delicious Bread, “Hirabara Farms” Beet Salad and Hawaiian Ahi Poke finished off the starters and were followed up by a delicious Filet Mignon with Spicy Green Beans on the side. Dessert was a delicious “Waialua Chocolate Purse” (you’ll have to try it to understand its appeal) and a “Pineapple – Macadamia Nut Bread Pudding” and Coffee finished our meal.

Yum! I can’t wait to go back!

The service, ambience and gentle light music performed by a local female artist made for a memory that will last a lifetime.

I am so grateful for this experience and the continual experiential and sensory treasures always found on this, the beautiful island of Maui.
