Review of “The Diplomat” - - Featured on Netflix



If you are looking for a smart, relevant, well-acted new series to watch, “The Diplomat” is the show for you.



Keri Russel and Rufus Sewell do not disappoint as a husband and wife charged with somewhat. of a role reversal in that “he”, “Hal Wyler” has “ticked off” the Secretary of State in his former role as diplomat and “she “, Kate Wyler, is suddenly thrust into a diplomat role in London, being secretly groomed for a role in the White House.


The script is somewhat complex as is evidenced in the dialogue between the various characters and leaves you wanting more by the end of Episode 8, the Season Finale.


Though I am grateful to not have to wait each week for a new episode and instead was able to “binge” watch two to three episodes per night, I do now feel a bit sad to now have to wait for the
